Thank you for joining us for the inaugural Head for the Cure 5K – Central Texas this Sunday, March 17!
Head for the Cure is proud to name Austin, Texas, as our sixth event city, and we can’t wait to kick off St. Patrick’s Day with you!
Where: Luke’s Locker, 115 Sandra Muraida Way, Suite 102, Austin, TX 78703
3-7 p.m.Friday: Team packet pickup*
9 a.m.-6 p.m. Saturday: Individual packet pickup
7-8 a.m. Sunday: Team and Individual packet pickup at Camp Mabry ONLY
*If you are a team captain and would like to pick up your team’s packets and shirts, please do so on Friday. Team members who would like to pick up their packet individually may do so on Saturday. If you have any questions, please contact firstname.lastname@example.org.

Directions and Parking Information
Camp Mabry Military Base, Austin, Texas
2200 W. 35th St., just west of Loop 1 (Mopac Boulevard)
Enter through the main gate off 35th Street. (The Mopac entrance will be closed on race day.)
Camp Mabry Information:
Parking is open to the public. The parking entrance to Camp Mabry is on West 35th Street just west of Exposition Boulevard. Once through the security checkpoint(photo I.D. required), you will be directed to parking.
Please plan on arriving early to ensure plenty of time to park.
**Allow an extra 10-15 minutes to enter the main gate and park.**
Camp Mabry does not allow pets due to the presence of wildlife on the base, but documented service animals will be allowed on the site.
Schedule Sunday, March 17:
7 a.m.: Late packet pickup and check-in
8 a.m.: Head for the Cure 5K – Central Texas starts (Click here for a course map!)
9 a.m.: Head for the Cure Kids Run (50-yard dash in the grass) starts
9:30 a.m.: Awards ceremony and Keeping the Faith Award presentation
Online registration will close this Thursday, March 14, at 11:59 p.m. We will still be accepting registrants and donations at packet pickup and on the morning of the event.
