CJ Sallee

My grandpa, CJ Sallee, was a great husband to my grandma; they would’ve been married 40 years on June 14, 2014.  My grandpa was a wonderful grandpa and great-grandpa.  This is how I remember him.  He loved all of us, and we loved him back. We miss him every day.  We found out something was wrong the week after my husband and I got married, May 2012, and this was also the last time I saw him well.  It was fast, so fast.  In October 2012, at 78 years old, he lost his short battle with inoperable malignant Glioblastoma.  Treatments didn’t help him.  I am walking for the first time this year, in hopes that raising money and awareness will help bring a cure and viable treatment options to so many people who need it.
