Gary Louis Kirkpatrick

Gary was diagnosed with Anaplastic Astrocytoma in April 2010 and battled courageously until September 8, 2012. He was a father, husband, brother, grandfather, nephew, cousin and a friend to countless. He retired from the Dallas Police Department in January 2010 after 37 honorable years as the Sergeant over the Special Investigations Homicide Unit. He followed his dream of living in Mineola,Texas and to catch the biggest bass at Lake Fork. He left behind his wife Nancy, four children, Stephanie, Robert, Angela, and Billy and step daughter, Stephanie and two grandchildren, Hannah and Kai. He also left two sisters Judy and Sandy. We will forever miss Gary more than we can ever bear.
