Jane McBride

Jane was born on Oct. 28, 1950 in Colby, Kans., to Ed and Stella Bixenman Krannawitter. She attended Colby Community Junior College and then received her teaching degree from Fort Hays State University.

On July 22, 1972, Jane was married to Roger “Lynn” McBride. Jane retired from teaching in Paola, Kans., in 2011. Jane was diagnosed with brain cancer two years ago. After many types of treatment, support from family/friends, prayers, and love, she peacefully passed away in May 2012.

Husband Lynn, sons Brent and Ty McBride, daughter Kelsie and her husband Jace Kirk, granddaughter Kailynn Kirk, Stella Krannawitter, Karen Kraft, LaDonna Bell, Kathy Vaughn, Terry Krannawitter, Keith Krannawitter, Bill Krannawitter along with numerous other family and friends wanted this memorial to be set up so family and friends can walk for Jane in the Head For The Cure in Kansas City. We love you and miss you Jane.
