Rick Hippely

Starting in junior high Rick ran. Continuing to run throughout his life. As a father his children saw him run many races and marathons – installing a love for the sport in his two youngest children, Sarah & Aaron. He was diagnosed with a glioblastoma brain tumor on March 1, 2004. After surgery and unsuccessful radiation he passed away on October 6, 2004 just three days after his 57th birthday. He left behind many that miss him dearly and will never forget him. But most of all he left behind a passion that continues with his children and their children.
