The Stevie Patrick Legacy of Love award honors a co-survivor who embodies the spirit and qualities of Stevie Patrick, the inspiration for bringing Head for the Cure to North Texas in 2011. Stevie was known to her friends and family as an encourager and leader, going out of her way to serve others and give everyone she met a big hug. After her diagnosis in 2010 at the age of 28, Stevie never complained about feeling sick or being in pain. She always took the high road and walked through each day with great integrity and a big smile on her face. Her heart was always to reach out and help others. Stevie lost her battle in 2013 but her legacy remains and reminds us everyday that everyone needs to be loved. To learn more about Stevie, please click here.
