Kathleen Bohn

Kathleen Mahon Bohn, 58, lost her 6 month fight with a Glioblastoma brain tumor on July 10th, 2012. Kathleen was raised in U City, attended nursing school, and then traveled the world. She worked as a psychiatric nurse for over 30 years. Kathleen married Jeff in 1982 and happily welcomed Kristin in 1984 and Allison in 1986.
Anyone that knew Kathleen knows that her family was her greatest love. She remained close to her 3 brothers and their families and loved their time together at the St. Pats parade. She was fun, bubbly, warm, and motherly to all. Kathleen was the best cookie maker, voicemail leaver, and party hostess around. She was a volunteer- American Red Cross, Meals on Wheels, saved a life by administering CPR on the side of the highway, and a dedicated nurse. She taught us about patience, acceptance, and generosity.
While we are deeply saddened by her passing and the ugly disease that took her, we will remember the lessons she taught us in those last months- strength, positive attitude, a marriage full of love, faith in God, a beautiful life.
