Tim was one of Head for the Cure's biggest supporters since the beginning and served on the Board of Directors since 2017. He will be remembered for his kind heart, intellect, warm embraces and passion to find a cure for brain cancer, not only for his own battle, but for the thousands who are diagnosed each year.
Tim was diagnosed with an oligodendroglioma brain tumor in May of 2008. After a friend told him about Head for the Cure during his recovery from surgery, he nodded his head and in his typical fashion said he would ‘call the guy’. He formed a team and later that same year participated in his first of many 5K fundraisers for the cause. His friends and family respond to his infectious enthusiasm every year as his team continues to grow. His family will continue to keep his competitive spirit alive and fundraise in his memory for Head for the Cure.
