Velia took her last breath and left home November 5, 2013. After being diagnosed in August 2013 battling glioblastoma for 3 months, with tough chemo and radiation, her husband, daughter, granddaughter were determined to fight with her every step of the way, everything happened so quickly but she was determined to fight this horrible disease, till her last breath. She had a huge support system behind her, including brother’s, sister’s, cousin’s, and friends! That same support system is willing to help fight this disease, to help find a cure.
