Dr. Nina

Paleologos

I’m not sure how I can accurately depict my appreciation for Dr. Nina Paleologos. She has become more than just another doctor – I consider her like family. I first met her when I was 13, because she took care of my dad when he was first diagnosed. My own diagnosis came 12 years later, and shortly after that, my mom (who was my biggest support at the time) suddenly passed away. I felt a little lost and overwhelmed dealing with my disease without her and refused treatment from one of the doctors in the clinic. The office called me back in to see Dr. Paleologos. She hugged me and we talked about my mom, who she had known for years while taking care of my dad. I knew then and there that I was in the right hands. I have since followed Dr. P across 3 hospital systems, and this year, she is taking care of me as I tackle more chemotherapy during a pandemic. And I know I speak on behalf of many patients when I say she is one of the most caring doctors in this field.
