I want to start by saying that I am so lucky to have met Jordan almost 11 years ago when we first moved to Austin She has pretty much been my best friend since we first met on St. Patricks Day in 2009. We had and still have a lot of fun together. Life has changed a bit since we met, as most of our lives do. Jordan is married to an amazing man, Bernie, who is also a dear friend, and has two beautiful children, Harris and Schafer, and also a sweet baby that she is fostering to adopt. Somehow, while growing her beautiful family, she allowed me to live with her when I first moved back to Austin. After moving out of the Hajovsky house, I still planned to see them regularly. Jordan is available whenever I need her. She comes with me to MRI’s, she goes to appointments with me, and most of all she does ALL of the research about new treatment options for brain cancer, especially GBM’s. She and my mom work together and look up stuff that is hard for me to do. She also has been apart of all of my Head for the Cure teams over the last 5 years and I am happy to have her here again. Jordan’s dad has also been fighting cancer over the past couple of years and she also does a lot of research for him and their family. She is such a helpful, kind and faithful woman. I wouldn’t have made it through a lot of my life without her and her family. This beautiful woman is definitely a Legacy of Love.
