Phoenix’s cancer story began 5 years ago when she was diagnosed with Stage 4 Medulloblastoma, a type of brain cancer that aggressively targets the brain and spinal cord. After an extensive surgery, a year of radiation and 4 cycles of chemotherapy, Phoenix continues to show no evidence of disease and will enter into her 4th year of remission just shy of her 9th birthday. #TeamPhoenix was born 4 years ago and continues to grow each year. We are so very fortunate to be apart of Head for the Cure and we run for those who have won, continue to fight, and gave their all to this battle against cancer. Phoenix, we love you.
